We are first generation aberdeen cattle owners
Our plan is to use our small ranch in the most sustainable and natural way possible. So we researched the most effective options for cattle on a small ranch that would allow us to stay close to nature and be sustainable. This research brought us to the Aberdeen Lowline. We chose Aberdeen Lowline cattle as they were the right fit for our mini ranch. Their moderate size makes them easy to handle and minimizes equipment requirements. Feed efficiency improves our ranch's carrying capacity. They produce excellent quality beef. They are also ideal show animals for 4-H and other youth projects bringing in the next generation of cattle people. We are excited to watch our ranch and Aberdeens grow over the next couple of years. Keep an eye on us!!!
American Aberdeens
We chose the American Aberdeen as they are known for their docile temperament, ease of handling, and good beef production.
Grass Fed
Our Aberdeen Lowline cattle are pasture raised and grass fed. We've chosen to pasture raise our cattle as it promotes soil health and encourages natural grazing behaviors. Leading to more sustainable farming practices.
Small Family Ranch
We have a small amount of acreage in south Texas that we are working to create an ecosystem of animals and plants that benefit each other ad the planet.
Our Flock
We have started a small flock of chickens, ducks, and guineas. We free range the flock to keep all animals as natural and organic as possible.
grass fed all natural Aberdeen Angus
The size of larger breeds. This allows for more efficient use of our smaller ranch.
More heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids than regular grain-fed beef.
Good mommas are the key for a good herd.
American Aberdeen cows make excellent mothers. Calving assistance is not generally required due to the smaller size of a newborn calf.
